In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, we will respond expeditiously to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.
This policy describes the procedure for copyright holders to notify us of claimed infringement and the process for users to respond to such notices. This DMCA policy applies to all content hosted on the unblocked1v1.lol website and its associated servers.
Our Stance on Copyright
It is our policy to (1) block access to or remove material that we believe in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our advertisers, affiliates, content providers, members or users; and (2) remove and discontinue service to repeat offenders. We strive to provide a service that respects the creative work of developers and artists, and we take claims of copyright infringement very seriously.
How to File a Notification of Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any copyrighted work is being infringed upon via the Service, you must submit a DMCA Takedown Notice. Your notice must be in writing and must include substantially the following information to be effective. Failure to include all of the required information may result in a delay in processing or a rejection of your complaint.
Required Information for a DMCA Notice:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. This should include a detailed description and, if possible, a URL where the original, authorized version of the work can be viewed (e.g., a link to the original game on the developer’s website).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Providing the specific URL on unblocked1v1.lol where the material is located is the best way to help us locate it quickly.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address, so that we may contact you.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. This statement clarifies that you genuinely believe an infringement has occurred.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
This notice must be delivered to our Designated Copyright Agent.
Procedure After Receiving a Takedown Notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, unblocked1v1.lol will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the infringing material. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material that we have removed or disabled access to it.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that the material that was removed or to which access was disabled is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
If a counter-notice is received by the Copyright Agent, we may send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party informing that person that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days.
